Queen Bee

Yesterday was the first day of Fall- guess what that means? Homecoming! That's right, dances and football games galore! Okay, we can skip out on the sports parts and just jump to the wearing party dresses part. Even if you don't have a homecoming, there are plenty of parties and events during the Fall and Winter, so stock up on statement dresses! Peachy pastels are so last season; instead, opt for color-rich frocks or bold prints in darker shades. If you usually go for light colors, try a jewel-tone purple or blue, and pair it with girly rhinestones and pearls. If you're already naturally nocturnal, play up an LBD or red dress (keep the color range from cherry to dark burgundy) with a leather jacket or studded booties. The key to stand out is wear something unexpected, and keep from looking too "done", nothing is worse than looking like Barbie-meets-the-girl-from-prom-in-Napolean-Dynamite. So keep the hair original, try vampy makeup, or maybe just slip on some statement shoes. Believe me, you'll be the life of the party.*
