A Bold Choice

You being the style icon that you are, know that just because our outfits might require a scarf or leather gloves now, doesn't mean that all of your dresses have to be stored in the back of your closet. I personally, don't enjoy the company of jeans as much as I do of a flowy dress or tulle skirts. And sometimes, I dread when the degrees start dropping, but there's a solution. Tights. No, not the old, really thick stockings that everyone use to wear. In all the fashion mags I picked up this month, there was a section on tights. Bold, printed, candy-colored tights. Mostly, I've seen them in surprising colors (like pumpkin and deep greens), color-block patterns, and dainty prints. All of these are different and can add dramatic effect to your entire look. Play up a boring dress with bright pink tights- or stay demure and wear lace or black polka-dot ones. Stay wary or colors too light or floral prints though, they scream Spring-Fling. Also, tights have numbers: They're measured by Denier. The Denier of a pair of tights is how dark they are and keep their color when you put them on and they stretch. Opt for a 120 Denier, as a rule of thumb, don't stray below 80. Anything else with fade color when you put them on and create that washed-out effect. Now that you know the rules, keep your riding boots looking fab with leg cover ups!*
